The paper highlights that the dimensions of conviction of teachers and the spirituality of religion teachers are functionally equivalent. Both are effective factors of learning. At the same time, both dimensions of teacher action elude their purpose. Following the results of self-efficacy research, the extent to which spirituality can be op-erationalized will be discussed.
