Welcome to the RpB - Religionspädagogische Beiträge. Journal for Religion in Education!

The RPB has been one of the leading scientific journals in the field of religious education in the German-speaking countries since 1978.

The RpB publishes cutting-edge research that provides new insights on the manifold aspects of religion in education in all regions and countries of the world. The journal publishes original research articles. Theoretical, historical, comparative, quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods contributions are welcome.

The RpB is published up to three times a year. There is at least one "Open Issue" each year, in which various contributions are published. At the same time, "Special Issues" offer the opportunity to outline current research topics; a "Call for Papers" is also issued for this purpose.

All RpB-articles are subject to a peer review process (double blind; see the criteria "Peer Review Process"). All articles are available “open access” at no cost from this website.
